Television
Did you know when the first simple television (televisores) was built in 1928, it did not come with a remote. By the late 1930s televisions were made by several manufacturers in the United States and throughout Europe and the Soviet Union. Later in World War II this technology used for military communications. However, unlike the Vietnam War, civilians were not able to watch the battles that had been fought and radio was still highly sought for news and entertainment.
In the mid 1960s, major broadcasters began to produce their programming in color. When John F. Kennedy buried, this was the first major event in American history that could be viewed by people all across the United States on television. Despite miles of separation, people in the USA felt more connected to one another because of this technology.
Later on, in the mid 1980s, satellites influenced further changes in television. Pay for view programming became possible through the encryption of programming and transmitting via cable and only to viewers who had the additional equipment to view such programs.
This day, we can enjoy the clearest images and hundred channels, thanks to digital and satellite television. DirectTv is a good example.Televisions have grown from 6 x 8 picture tubes in huge cabinets to slim instruments sitting atop pedestals. We can also watch TV from computer as well as by cell phone. Uh, I love technology!
If you want to enjoy lotsa channels, try direct tv. You can enjoy over 265 channels with 100% digital picture and sound. Directtv, good TV, better TV.
